Hi there, I'm Sassy (aka Sassy Spice), a Spanish artist
(or something like it) based in Barcelona, who dedicates
mostly of his time on drawing Sailor Moon fanart.
I've been drawing all my life, but it was not until this past 2019
that I finally had the opportunity to get my hands on a graphic tablet and move to digital drawing. Now everything is new, and as a selftaught artist, everyday is full of fails and things to learn and it feels just like starting over again from the begining.
It can be overwhelming sometimes, but luckily internet tutorials have my back.
Because of all of that, I like to consider myself a prototype,
just the first sketch of the full artist I want to be.
That's the reason why I have chosen "Prototype Sailor Moon"
as the face of my website, maybe someday I will become "Eternal" too.
About my work, Sailor Moon will occupy a huge part of it,
and will be mostly based on imitating the style of the fabulous
Ikuko Itoh to give it the appearance of the classic 90's anime but including certain elements or aspects from the manga.
Besides that, there will always be a small gap for other anime and manga that have earned a little place in my heart.
After so many years I'm still trying to polish and get what it might consider my own art style. I would like to be able someday to create my first manga with a drawing style that I can call mine, as well as so many other fanfics and projects that I have in mind, but Rome was not built in a day so I guess it will still take me some time.
I hope you all enjoy my work and see me grow a little more everyday!
