SPICE UP YOUR FIGHT!πππ❤️π
It was just a matter of time until the 2 loves of my life became 1! I had been thinking about finally making a crossover between the Spice Girls and Sailor Moon for a long time, and of all the ideas I had, this "Movie poster redraw" was the one I wanted to do first. It's not a secret that I'm a big fan
of the Spice Girls (just look at my nickname) and the VHS of the movie was one of the first things I had of them when I was a child. I used to go to the video store nearby, and when I saw it for sale on the shelf it was like seeing Jesus or something! I bought it and watched it over and over again, so it brings me so many good memories. I've put each Sailor with the Spice I think suits best for her:
Moon as Baby (childish + innocent + blonde + pigtails),
Mars as Ginger (the sexy one, the lady in red, pure fire you know?),
Mercury as Posh (the quiet/demure one), Venus as Scary (sassy, crazy and extrovert)
and Jupiter as Sporty (the strong one, a bit butch and knows how to rock a ponytail).
As a 90's kid I've always pictured the Sailors as the Spice Girls and viceversa, so I'm so happy
to have finally make it real. I warn you all, this will not be the last time I crossover them!
Even if you're a Spice Girls fan or not, I really really really hope you like it!π₯°

FLY ME TO THE MOON!π»π✨
I've been wanting to draw human Luna for so long, and when I saw "The Butcher's Wife" movie poster, something in my mind just lighted up!π‘ I have to say that haven't watched that movie actually LOL, but the poster gave me the inspiration I needed, it just screams "HUMAN LUNA!!" to me.
The city below is an actual photo of the Tokyo city from the sky that I have retouched to fit in the best I could. Since there's no "Ikuko Itoh" version of Luna, I made her the way I thought she would, and it turn out as if Usagi and Rei had a daughter (I would pay for that!). I love the Sailor Moon S movie so much (even though I think the manga version has better plot) so I hope that I've made it justice with this art. Hope you like it and see ya soon!!! π₯°π

I wanted to make something special for the #FreeBritney movement.
I love her and her music, and she seems to be such a nice and sweethearted woman and I'm so sad with all the issues she had to deal through all of his live. Everybody should have the right and the freedom to live his life the way they want and make all the decissions by their own. I wish her the best and I really hope she can finally destroy his chains and enjoy the live she deserves. I have no doubt that she will come out of this STRONGER than yesterday.

About the piece, it's a reimagination of the Britney album cover and inspired by the S season finale. That ending is LEGENDARY (my favorite by far), and the aesthetic suits so good with the album cover; the messy hair, clothes, background... and that innocent look in Britney's eyes just like Usagi's.
I wanted to represent that, despite all the struggles she had to deal with (Usagi/Britney), nothing can beat the light of her pure heart and she will came out of every battle victorious and even more powerful.
I've been working on it so many days, it really gave me a lot of work but I enjoyed every minute and put all my love on it, so I really hope you like it!π₯°

Codename Sailor V! π✨
This is one of the projects that has been on the drawer from a long time because
I had an "art-block" with it and started another new drawing to freshen up my ideasπ΅
It was supposed to be a redraw of one of the Naoko's art for the Sailor V manga
(the one with Minako and Sailor V on the TV's in the back),
but at the end I just took the pose for V and scrapped the idea
of a full redraw. I even drew Artemis but didn't like it and trashed it tooπ (sorry kitty!).
For the background I've redrawn one of the SM sceneries because I loved
that "instagram" color palette, I think it fits so good with her.
For the products, I decided to go for an "arcade/80's/videogame" theme.

Pretty Knight Sailor Revolution!πΉ
When I did the #SailorMoonRedraw challenge with Utena, I didn't expect it would receive
that much love and it made me so happy to see so many Utena fans over hereπ
Because of that, I've made this full version of Sailor Utena
(which now I like to call Sailor Revolution) along with Rose Princess (aka Anthy ~ Rose Bride). More than Utena in a SM world, it's like a SM and RGU mashup, I've mixed a lot of elements
from both series to try to make it feel like a whole new series.
For Utena sailor outfit I've choose the color palette from her "Rose Bride" gown and
added her "bowling shoes", the prince shoulder pads, the chest chain brooch and the double skirt
like the one she wears as a duelist. For Anthy I've mixed the Rose Bride gown with
the Princess Serenity colors and added her shoulder pads but with the Rose crest on it.
The golden pearl chest chain and the neck decoration make reference to the Serenity dress and also the pearls in the crown and earrings. The brooch is like the Silver Crystalπ
(Dios Crystal now) and the hair is a mix of Usagi and Anthy's.
Same comes for the background, I traced the stained glass window from a screencap of RGU and the night view is inspired by the wonderful Sailor Moon scenery, full of shojo lights.
I would love to be skilled enough to turn this whole idea into a doujinshi...π
But, well... who knows what the future holds, right?π

I have always admired the diversity of characters, sexual orientations,
and identities featured in Sailor Moon. As an LGBT person, I know how hard it is to grow up
in a world that keeps telling you that you are strange, that there's something wrong with you,
and having to grow up alone and self-conscious. For this reason, being able to see as a child characters that go beyond what is considered "normal", characters with whom you can feel identified,
was a small salvation. So I wanted to celebrate this PRIDE with one of those characters!
So many came to my mind but at the end I choose Fiore because I've always loved his design and storyline; the way he truly fell in love with an human when he was just a child and returned
to Earth just to see him again a fullfil the promise he made, isn't that beautiful?
I wanted to give Mamo that "sexy/spanish/Backstreet Boys video" look because I think
that really make the picture stand out. For the colors and shading I've been inspired
by the Sailor Moon S laserdics and the pride flag of course.
Hope you like it and remember: always be who you really are and love whoever the f*** you love!

Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon ~ Legacy! ❤️ππππ
Wouldn't it have been great if they had made a spin-off about Chibiusa
taking over her mother's role as a Guardian alongside the Sailor Asteroids?
Their presence in the manga was so short and I think many of us were left wanting moreπ’
So I have made this kind of "fake poster" of the "fake spin-off" called LEGACY!
What do you guys think? Who else is excited to see the Amazoness/Sailor Asteroids
in the new Eternal movies?π

This piece gave me a lot of work but I enjoyed every minute of it, the Amazoness are of my favorites villains, they're so cute yet so naughty and the designs are amazing! I wanted the outfits to stay more close to the manga ones, so "no pants" apart, they have other little differences too.
For the merchandising designs, I decided to give them some "Pop/80's/Neon" flavour
'cause I love the retro style. You'll find them on the SHOP section on the right,

Would you still love me when I'm no longer young and beautiful?
I was dying to draw Nehelenia, even more when I saw the gorgeous cosplay from Haine.
She looks fierce and the photo idea is amazing so I had to redraw it!❤️
Follow her for more stunning cosplays! (I love the Utena one so much!πΉ)
Nehelenia is one of the prettiest Sailor Moon villains, and for me, she's also the one
with the most interesting story, especially in the manga. The "Sleeping Beauty" plot gives me everything
so even though SM Crystal it's not my cup of tea, I'm kinda excited to finally see the Dream arc faithfully adapted to anime.

I'm so happy to have finally finished this piece, the Amazon Trio are one of my favorites villains, especially Fish Eye (I have an important fixation with anything that resembles mermaids, fishes,...π§♀️π).
The designs are just gorgeous and so androgynous, I think Naoko did a great job including characters from different sexual orientations and identities. Variety is the spice of life!π³️π✌️
I've included some elements of the Naoko's original manga designs like the four Hawk's Eye earrings and the claw ring of Tiger's Eye because I always like to mix both worlds (anime & manga).
To finish I wanted to give it that "vintage circus poster" flavour as if it were a real poster announcing the trio's performance through the city. I took the pose idea from an actual picture of the Amazon Trio
from the "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon ~ Amour Eternal" Musical. What do you guys think?ππ❤️

Super Sailor Moon!✨
"Redrawn" or "reimagination" of the Chobits illustration for the vol.3 manga cover.
That picture is everything! Everytime I saw that cover it gave me huge Super Sailor Moon vibes, maybe for the long back ribbon, the moon, the hair, the fairy pose... π¦
I don't know but I had to make it happen.
The background was HELL! I traced one of the anime sceneries and all was going fine till I get to
the Tokyo Tower, OMG remind me to never do that againπ
And I'm still not fully satisfied with it but I did my best. As a curious fact, I have changed the lamppost
for one similar to the ones in the Azabu Juuban Station (Usagi neighborhood).
Because of the "upcoming" Sailor Moon movie about the Dream arc, I'm thinking on dedicate
the next few projects about it. What do you guys think?π₯°
I already have a few ideas and I can wait to show them.

Naru Osaka is Sailor Earth!! ππ
Yes, I know, it's not so original because there's a ton of Naru's fanart as Sailor Earth all over the internet, but I really think that role it's for HER. I was always expecting that Naru where involved in the Sailor Team somehow, and it's kinda sad how she was left apart with no explanation or a proper goodbye,
she just PUFFF... dissapearπ There were so many ways they could have used Naru's character
instead of relegating her to just being the victim of the dayπ
Naru as Sailor Earth is supposed to be part of a fanfic/doujinshi that I'm planning to do someday hopefully, it requires a lot of time, skills and knowledge that I don't think I have right now. Her outfit colors are inspired by the colors of the Earth, and since there's a lot of blue between the Sailors, I decided to use pistachio green as the main color and the navy blue for the ribbons. I think those colors suits sooo good with her blue eyes and copper brown hair. Even though green and blue are the main colors, her "Sailor" color is gold (for the Golden Crystal). She's wearing the Prince Endymion shoulder protections and is holding the King Endymion's sword to give her more "Earth" references.

My Pretty Little Cosmos✨
Crossover between two of my favorite characters, Chibi Chibi and Sailor Cosmos!
I was dying to draw this mix, and when I saw the gorgeous "Cosmos" fanart by Charimyuu
I pushed myself to finally do it.
I think the Cosmos colors suits so good with Chibi Chibi, so light and so calmπ
I didn't include her wings, cape or pearl rings because I think it was a bit to much for such a tiny body when it's already full of wings and pearls.
For the background I took the ribbon, the roses and the overall idea from the covers for
the Sailor Moon Crystal season 3 soundtrack.

This piece is a redraw of the fanart created by the marvelous Arina Tanemura that served as the cover of her illustration doujinshi "Strawberry candle". I tried to make the final piece as close as possible to the original but without all the "ribbons" because I think it was a bit too much.
